    In the description of this product it says:
    “We have also swapped out MCP1700T-3302E/MB regulator with ME6210A33PG that provide higher output current (up to 500mA) and higher input voltage (up to 18V but limited to 12V in design).”

    Is it possible to use the full 18V input level somehow?

    We do use a 25V rated ceramic capacitor at the regulator input, so you can do that. But, just make sure the amount of current you are pulling is not too high as it might get warm on the regulator.
