ParticipantI have ordered Lipos 3.7V and realised quite late that the plug is connected wrong, pos and neg is switched.
I think I Crashed my board. It doesnt charge my battery not any more. one battery is absolutly dead. I put my voltmeter on the battery and it says 0V.Does the Mini Ultra Pro V2 has a battery protection? the datasheet of the battery charger didnt tell me.

KeymasterHi Manuel,
The connector has clear polarity marking on the PCB. And also these are usual polarity you will find in most battery available out there with a JST PH 2.0 mm connector. If there’s no smoke, high heat on the battery or battery charger chip, it could still possible to be still not damaged.
It is possible that your battery pack if it has a built-in protection, it will cut off the power (hence zero volts). If not, it possible it is damaged.
Is the board still detectable by the PC?
Try with another battery to see whether it’s a faulty battery.November 7, 2018 at 8:20 PM #10192Manuel
Participantthe board runs with all functions. I have connected a new battery and uploaded the firmware without problems.
can you tell me how the red charging LED is controlled? my application has a power source 5V regulated on Pin VIN. the Battery is a backoff when the host power source is turned off on weekends. right now the battery has 3.55V but the charging LED is not active.
The Samd21 is always on sleep by using your low Power library (version from last year). wakeup is triggered on an interrupt pin. this works perfect.November 8, 2018 at 11:46 PM #10197LIM PHANG MOH
KeymasterHi Manuel,
The red LED for charging indication cannot be controlled as it is controlled by the charger IC BQ24074.Does the green LED turns on when 5V VIN is connected? If yes, with battery connected it should be charging with the red LED turn on too until battery is completed it’s charging process.
